Personal favorite so far. The bags were a bit of a challenge, nonetheless it was really fun to paint.

First critique in forever. I felt an urge to actually let my thoughts pour out for once since this painting is incredibly aesthetic and heavily detailed.

Okay enough of that silly shizz...

Vision: To begin, the composition is well put together. There's enough 'breathing space' for all the objects, and the way they're set up almost gives both sides a balance. All the creases and wrinkles in the paper bags are amazingly done; they have amazing depth and I love that (the hard work really paid off, didn't it?). The apples look, just, flat-out amazing; the values and highlights are perfect, the reflections in the table look realistic, and the colours are blended just right.

Originality: I haven't seen very many oil-paintings (since they aren't really my thing), so I'm just gonna say, for now, that this is the best I've seen ever. I love the subject matter because it gives a type of beauty to these very simple items.

Technique: Gorgeous. Oil painting is a hard medium to use (I should know, I'm taking a class on it). I think using oils was a very bold move, and that makes this piece even more amazing.

Impact: I'm astounded that someone could do this in the first place (because I probably sure as hell couldn't). I give you kudos for taking on such a challenge (with the paper bags and all). It makes me feel like I could improve in my oil-painting class...

To finish this excessively long critique, I'm going to say that all your time and energy really paid off. This piece is so so so so amazing (if I'm allowed to sound cliche at least once) and I do hope you create more works to astound us. Great job.
